World Heritage Sites are the most important places to learn about the richness and diversity of our cultural history and natural environment. They are the Must-See places that we all strive to see in our lifetimes.

Many generations before us have preserved them, and because of their outstanding universal value the international community has decided to protect them through international law. We cannot imagine a world without them.
<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

However, more and more world heritage sites are threatened by development pressure, mass tourism, war, resource depletion, urbanization, climate change and investor projects, but also by neglect and mismanagement.
 
On the other hand, UNESCO alone is powerless; it can only warn governments. Civil society worldwide must demand the protection of the sites and create public pressure. We are all called to preserve them and pass them on to the next generations unscathed. As a Supporter<\/strong>, individuals donate 5 \u2013 49 \u20ac, and legal entities 50 \u2013 99 \u20ac per month. By receiving our newsletter and invitations to our public events you will be kept informed about the efforts of our network to protect our most precious heritage sites worldwide.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our group of Friends<\/strong> are those who are ready to take more responsibility by donating 50 \u2013 99 \u20ac a month for individuals and 100 \u2013 499 \u20ac a month for legal entities. As a Friend you ensure that we can remain independent from political parties, business companies and government funding. In addition to the newsletter and invitations we will express our gratitude to you with a hardcopy of our annual WHW Report and other publications.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Partners<\/strong> help tackling larger strategic issues with amounts of 100 – 500 \u20ac per month for individuals and above 500 \u20ac per month for legal entities. As a partner, we will recognize the important role you play in the organization by involving you in our ongoing strategic discussions through personal or online meetings.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n
